construction
The Nala socks are knitted from top to bottom. First the cuff is worked, followed by the shaft, which is knitted in the round with a pattern. Then the reinforced heel wall is knitted before the heel cap is formed. This is followed by the gusset. The foot is also knitted in a pattern until finally the toe is formed with decreases. The sock is then closed with the slip stitch.
